3.02 Loading slowly

Ok so I've done my googling before posting this. But havent come up with anything yet. So I'll just ask it here.
So its not that much of an issue but it seems like that anytime its loading up a battle or just going back from the stage screen to the CSS it just loads noticably more slower to the point of where I used to think it was freezing. It didn't happen to the old one but I switched everything to an 8gb SD card since it now has support for it. Would that be whats causing the issue or do I need to format my sd card in a certain way. I think fat32 with a 16kb allocation was the default and I left it at that. My apologies if this thread is already elsewhere as I couldn't find it.

Does it load just as slowly when playing vbrawl? if so, your lens might be on the brink of needing cleaning.

No I play with a backup. Its always loaded fine before until I installed the new eight gig SD card since it had support for it. It only loads slow when backing out of the stage selection or after selecting a stage.

Have you tried defragmenting your SD? Also, how old is your Wii?

I have this exact same problem, did you ever find a solution for this? I'm using a 4gb sd card and have defragmented it multiple times.

I mean, it's Speed Class 4. I don't really think that's it though.

I mean besides, isn't the speed class just an indicator of write speed and not read speed? I'm pretty sure most SD card read speeds are fairly consistent.

the class is write speed.

test your read speed. they're not pretty much the same between cards at all

Well I tried a different SD Card and it works like it should now. :D
