3.01 is a bit off for me

I USB load Brawl and enable cheats and up until this update that has worked flawlessly.

When the update came out I did what I usually do. Take my music out. Clean install put my music back in. and on the surface the game seemed to be running fine (wrist strap screen, no more color bar) even Kirby's change that allowed him to side cutter on the ground but the salty runback feature didn't work and Kirby with a Samus hat couldn't charge in midair. So I gotta wonder what's going on?

Kirby could never air charge with the Samus hat in the first place. Are you sure you're performing the rematch input correctly? It needs to be L + R + Y right when it says GAME! and if you're doing the pause method it should be L + R + Y + A + Start. And it only works with the Gamecube controller, I think.

I misread that patch note and I was doing it wrong. Thanks dude!
