Yo!

lol, thread title pretty much sums it up. I'm 25 years old from Sweden (though I'm currently living in Germany) and Shulk is my main character in Smash 4. Back in 2011 Xenoblade Chronicles became my favorite game, and ever since I heard about a new Smash game, I was hoping for Shulk. The odds seemed ridiculously low, so just imagine my hype and surprise when he was actually announced!

I'm a fan of 1on1, 3p and 2vs2 games with ff (though I haven't had many chances to play the latter, looking for more of that!) so be sure to add me if you want.
I haven't been looking into adding people for Smash until recently, which basically means I have over 5000 For Glory matches played. So some of you on here might have faced me at some point, though I guess nobody would remember, haha.

I also have a capture card, so I sometimes upload clips to my YouTube channel. I upload some compilation videos, random stuff or just videos of online matches. Feel free to check them out! Also good to get some idea of how I play.

I'm primarily a 3DS player, so sad to say we probably haven't played. Super cool to see a Shulk main. He's one of my favorite characters, and I rarely see them.

I did buy the 3DS version at launch and played it a lot, around 1000 For Glory games I think. But ever since I got the Wii U version I haven't touched it and I don't plan on going back. I'm too scared of wearing out the sensitive circle pad, and I feel a control stick is much more reliable for getting in tilts and smashes in the right situations.

Nah, I don't think it'd wear out: 6000 games here. Though most people prefer the Wii U version, so it's fine if you like that more .
It definitely is more reliable, buuut I can't afford a remote and Wii U pad is a little too big for me.

Thank you! yes, he seems to be quite rare. After thousands of For Glory matches, I think I might have only seen another Shulk 10-15 times, and I won each time, making me wonder if they were maybe not mains.

By the way, here's a video of a match I played against an online friend yesterday. I was pretty lucky with predictions, and I did some over the top editing to make it more enjoyable (or annoying? ) to watch. The ending is a beauty.
