NFA @ Emporium is back!! This time around we will be featuring legendary peach main MacD, a controller raffle, and an amateur bracket! Cover includes 1 FREE shot!
21+ ONLY. Must have ID at door.
$10 Cover gets you 1 free shot and enters you into the Melee singles bracket. Double elimination, see rules below.
$5 Amateur Entry (optional) - Available to those who get knocked out of the bracket when Top32 is decided. Gets you 1 free shot and enters you into the Amateur bracket, which is a double elimination bracket without the Top32.
BYOC Bring your own controller to this event! For those looking for a new controller, we will be raffling one brand new Gamecube controller towards the end of the night. Raffles are $1 each, unlimited entry.

Doors open at 4pm, bracket sign ups end at 7. Tournament is expected to end at 11.

Rules:
Game version: US Nintendo GameCube
Game Settings: 4 Stock, 8 Minute Time Limit, No Items, Pause Disabled
Double elimination. Best of 3. Quarter finals and up best of 5.
Starter stages: Yoshi’s Story, Fountain of Dreams, Final Destination, Battlefield, Dream Land.
Counter-pick stages: Pokemon Stadium.
Freezing and infinite stalling are not legal.
First stage is decided by banning from the Starter Stages in P1-P2-P2-P1 order.
Winning player is not locked into the same character for the next match, but has to pick before loser selects character.
Following stages decided by winner banning one stage from all stages and then loser choosing.
Any matches that are best of five, there are no stage bans.
You may not choose a stage you have already won on unless mutually agreed to.
Payouts:
$5 per head goes towards Melee Singles Bracket
$3 per head goes towards Amateur Melee Singles Bracket
