20XX random di

I can't get sheik to have random di in 20XX (to practice the chainbrab) but it works against spacies. Is this a specific problem I have or what's the deal?

Make sure you're using the controller in the first slot. In my experience, if you're using a controller in the second slot, the first slot cpu won't random DI.

I think for whatever reason the normal player 2 mods that apply to computers don't apply to Sheik (I've noticed Sheik doesn't double jump out of hitstun for example). Just out of curiosity though are you selecting Sheik for the computer with Z or just waiting for Zelda to transform?

I don't know much about 20XX or Pseudo Random DI, but I will say that the varying levels of CPU difficulty can change the way that they DI.
For instance, A level 9 has perfect DI, where as a Level 3 has Pseudo Random DI most of the time. (If I am correct)

In 20XX all the computers DI/SDI randomly unlike in vanilla Melee where different levels have different DI patterns

At least that's the general idea, there may be a few nuances (like they tend to SDI down and tech up smashes)
