20xx hack pack on PAL?

Just bought a copy of melee off amazon and didn't realize its the PAL version and not the NTSC version. I know there are some slight differences between the two but I want to know if I install the 20xx hack pack will it allow me to switch between the two versions?

You can use both PAL and NTSC versions of characters in the hack pack although it defaults to NTSC (switch in current build by pressing right on the d pad once your character is selected, in 3.02 by pressing r)

So if I put the hack pack on PAL it will automatically play like NTSC?

You don't use a disc for the 20XX pack; you use a modified NTSC .iso which you run off a USB drive or SD card.

If you're talking about 20XX Tournament Edition (the one that runs off a memory card with a game disc), then there's currently no release which is PAL-compatible, and it doesn't enable you to change between PAL/NTSC character versions.
