1. How do I install it on Windows Vista?

2. Does recording with s-video cables give a noticeably better picture quality than composite cables?

Just plug it in and go and if Vista has the drivers it will install them automatically. If it doesn't, then search online for Vista drivers for it, install those, then plug in your GB and it should work.

S-Video is better quality than Composite, but it really isn't that much better. I also find S-Video annoying because of all the little pins the cable uses lol. If you're wondering this for if you should buy a s-video cable or not for your Wii, it's just not worth it. Stick with composite. S-Video is quite limited in forms of support and tools available for it.
