1v1 Still noticably laggy?

I've been playing 1v1 for a bit now, I can't seem to get my timing down with some of that input delay or whatever kind of lag i'm getting. I have a wired connection too, put my tv on game mode etc. I'm wondering will the noticeable lag will go away if i just played people from these boards who have a wired (and good) connection?

If anyone wants to 1v1 me from the east coast US, i'm new and ****ty and have everything to learn. add me!

It's unfortunately entirely dependent on both your and your opponent's connection. Feel free to add my NNID, I'm from NC and am on wired. My university has some occasional packet loss issues that normally only last a few moments, but otherwise the connection is solid.

Unfortunately I'm pretty busy with classes lately, but I might be able to find some time for some matches on weekends. Lemme know via PM if you want.

I feel you man, it seems like past week has had slight delay in general almost every single online matchup, I know it's not my net and its probably not the opponent giving the same exact minor delay every other game so must be server issues
