1v1 Ladder?

Have you guys ever thought of having a 1v1 ladder? It would feature about 12 characters. The best players on these forums would rep those characters. The lower tier characters would be at the bottom and the higher tiers on the top. Players would challenge the ladder and try to defeat it. So what do you think? Are the servers too bad to do this? We had a ladder like this on the playstation allstars battle royale forums.

Brawl-Fi is too terrible for online stuff to be legitimate. Dolphin netplay, on the other hand, is quite good. but i don't think all the best players have access to dolphin capable comps...

Thats too bad. Maybe for smash 4 we will be able to do this. It was so much fun at the other forums
