Hey guys, MMx2 here back from hiatus and moving (now in San Jose) and I feel... good. Ready to take on Melee's reviving tourney scene.

Okay, so in a post of mine, I asked about what a good tourney organizer was to prepare for this school tourney I hosted (my first) promptly named, "Initial Renaissance" (if there was another tourney by that name, I didn't know).

Here's the results: http://img188.imageshack.us/img188/6235/70916866.png

Out of the groups of entrants these are the notable ones:
-Ban approaches well with Samus's missiles.
-Equinox (Lucky Jack on Smashboards), although admittedly spams f-smashes and constantly misses the sweetspot (or the hit), gets lucky with Mario and has decent DI.
-Michael... The second best (now the best in PGHS league/game club due to me moving)... Wow. He showed me why many Falcos (and smashers in general) hate (or dislike) versusing (versing?) good Marths in Melee... The awesome aerials, numerous edgeguarding options, that dang disjointed hitbox, and knockback gave Michael the 1st win and the (3-2) close match up. Also, he was the only other person to use ATs on purpose. (Well... Lucky Jack knew how to SHFF (no L LOL))

Anyway that's aside from the main point and question. My 1st tournament, my 1st win. Breathtaking finals... An amazing feeling. So for those who go to tourneys, this is my question:

How did you feel after YOU 1st tournament, be it a win or a loss?

I felt disappointed and I got really nervous before each fight...but it woke me up at the same time. Even though I won my first ever tourney set (Which was 1 extra round than everyone else)...I had to really dig deep in the first round. I lost my 2nd round in winners' and lost in losers' right after that. I was surprised at how much faster people progressed than me (this was right after Brawl's launch) and I haven't done as bad as that tournament since then.
