I've decided to compile a list of the 1-Player's YouTube accounts for you guys to subscribe to if you're interested in seeing up to date videos.

First off, for aspiring beginners in the Break the Target field, gamepro88 made beginner and intermediate video strategies for you to start trying a few years ago. His page is organized and has links to his videos on youtube.

http://members.lycos.co.uk/begandinterbtt/

Anyway,

marth1 - http://youtube.com/user/smashssbm
Former HRC God, currently #2 ranked in BtT... marth1 is undoubtedly the overall best BtT/HRC player that has poured his resources into completely revamping and polishing all of his records as well as constantly coming up with newer, more creative and faster strategies. His account also has a lot of really funny random videos that he's compiled over the years. Lately he's been a little less active than usual, but his account is definitely a 'must-subscribe'.

Sin2324 - http://youtube.com/user/Sin2324
Current HRC God. Holds nearly every HRC World Record and also has a video for every single one as well. Completely and utterly dominant in HRC as he sits very comfortably in first place. First player to get over 40 kilometers total (131,200+ feet total, which averages to over 5200 feet per character). He has also been somewhat dormant recently, however he still gets new World Records every few weeks as he completely pushes the human limit to squeezing out every % he can from strategies as well as constantly making up his own. His account also has a lot of extra videos apart from HRC (such as 10mm, event modes, even himself playing the piano) which are also pretty interesting.

Zampa - http://youtube.com/user/LPZampa
Current BtT God. A Swedish BtTer that has taken the community somewhat by storm, Zampa has come up with many faster and new strategies to achieve his total, and he still pumps out new strategies somewhat frequently. He is randomly late on producing videos, but he still has them for all of his scores (I believe?).

madmailler - http://youtube.com/user/madmailler
Has one of the highest HRC totals.

Skywalker - http://youtube.com/user/t3hskywalker
HRC player with the highest PAL total. There are a number of differences in PAL version.

mudi - http://youtube.com/user/mudi89
Another PAL BtTer with a very impressive total.

demon9 - http://youtube.com/user/demoon9
See mudi's description.

SW1988 - http://www.youtube.com/user/ssbm4ever
SW1988, originally a MMM player, holds many event mode world records. His account holds many different kinds of videos.

Nintendude1189 - http://youtube.com/user/Nintendude1189
American Stadiumer from NY currently attending Cornell, I've personally met Nintendude and think his enthusiasm for the 1P mode communities is great. He holds many 10mm world records and has one of the best totals.

nox - http://youtube.com/user/Nox000
French 10mm player, came out of the blue recently and has a very good 10mm total.

BCL aka 黒服リンク - http://youtube.com/user/Ryuto138
Japanese player that completely reinvented the classic, adventure and all star modes. His account features tons of these modes as well as the current best strategies for maxing out point high scores.

Dr.Mお - http://youtube.com/user/Sakujo
Japanese 10mm player. Also has random Race to the Finish videos.

Gegan - http://youtube.com/user/gegan06symbolic
Gegan is a Japanese BtTer with a very impressive total. Lots of BtT videos.

Random mixes of stuff accounts -

http://youtube.com/user/Robroy1473
Tons of random players, old world record videos, lots and lots of videos people have never uploaded to youtube.

http://youtube.com/user/Mimorox
Lots of Screwed-up Stadium (Action Replay is used to let you play different characters on different stages)

http://youtube.com/user/LinksDarkArrows
BtT player with an impressive total, also has many other random videos.

http://youtube.com/user/JoeBushman
Joe Bushman is the man.

http://youtube.com/user/raserucort
Me, I have a ton of random videos, mostly vs mode but I occasionally make 1P mode videos when I find the time to get new records.

http://youtube.com/user/pyh189
pyh189, creator of the smashvrs.com website and forums. His account has a lot of random speed runs, particularly in adventure mode.

TatsuyaNV - http://youtube.com/user/TatsuyaNV
Old school HRC player. Has mostly HRC videos, but also uploads other player's videos as well. Random videos are also somewhat interesting.

I'll update this more as they come to mind. Also feel free to remind me/link me to obvious players I've missed.

Yeah, I know of ajp's account but he's too stubborn to upload his videos to a convenient place. Usually Jerry3333 or I upload his videos.

Oh, haha. I would let people write up their own descriptions, but I've always known you to be more recognized for your great event mode records and achievements. But now that you remind me, *edits*

I have the highest OV HRC Videos... 85kft/26km Total.

I'm probably not worth mentioning though =\

Anyway, we should tie AJP down until he uploads them >_>

Well, maybe now you do. But I remember following your videos back in the day.

I don't really follow any of the MMM modes you excel at >_>;

i love how there's a full-fledged paragraph on sin and marth1 and such, but for me it's just a sentence =)

way to ignore the fact that I'm one of the two people that has actually kept a record above sin's...but whatever lol

oh btw, i'd rather be called tipo mastr than madmailler... :ohwell: i used madmailler a while ago...and it's too late to switch youtube accounts now. =)

EDIT: www.youtube.com/user/wonkothenormal has a bunch of interesting videos.

www.youtube.com/user/platterbomb has some of elemist's videos on it.

You haven't particularly reinvented the way any mode was played the way marth1 or sin have. You've really only just gotten good HRC scores <_<

How could you possibly compare yourself to them? And to be honest I don't know anything else about you. Nothing personal.

There's no use complaining about something so minuscule, anyway.

He can compare himself as he is higher than marth1, and quite near Sin.

Also, there aren't really any ways to re-event HRC, except if you can do AJP's AR strats >_>

sorry if i came off angry XD

i have contributed a little to the community, although since i wasnt around during the real formative years, a lot of the strats were already there by the time i got good. so i dont really blame you for not putting a lot of stuff up, but it's not exactly my fault either XD

although i do agree marth1 and sin have contributed more than i have...but either way you could have at least put something about the mewtwo WR xd

hm i havent seen the original post, so if you edited it, i dont know at this point, ill check after i make this post lol

I agree with Cort, TypoMaster. We've all done awesome things, but none of us will ever come close to marth1 or Sin's accomplishments. If he throws your few accomplishments (not saying they're bad) in there, he has to do it for everyone. The list seems to be for good players only, so we should just be happy that we're on it. =)

Also... if we wanna get nit picky about what should be on there... I've done Mario top and left suicide, second to sub 8 Jigglypuff (that was when the Japanese were in their prime, too), new Samus strategy, a new Yoshi strategy and I broke a few year 10 Man Melee tie. (Pikachu.) So I wouldn't exactly start talking about what should and shouldn't be on the list. =p

DISCLAIMER: I don't expect my accomplishments to be thrown on the list. They were simply an example to show tipo that them not being mentioned isn't a bad thing.

*pushes this topic in some better light* I wish there was some other way to get more Melee videos on Youtube. I can't play Home Run Contest and 10 Man Melee is too tedious. Perhaps I'll pick up Race to the Finish again. (At least until Brawl comes out)

About AJP. Perhaps someone should take the liberty of making him another Youtube account and uploading his videos through that. (With his permission, of course) This way his videos could be seen by more people. =)
