here in the MST (see the opposite thread), the site changed from 7 days to 6 (actually Tera tested it with 4 and 3) at 9:00 AM. that's 15 hours before midnight Japan time. be that the case...

Sakurai can very well leave the red 1 on the site for 12 additional hours until he finally decides to open the site. He makes the rules. He could change the 1 back to a 7 if he really wanted to...

It counted down the days left at the start of every day (midnight in Japan). There is still 1 day left and there will be, indeed, 0 days left at midnight tonight... which just means that the site will reopen on that day, not necessarily at the same time the day counter was updated.
