I mean to be fair Mewtwo only made it into Smash 4 DLC cause it was a highly requested veteran. We never actually got a new Pokemon as DLC so its not a defined pattern like Fire Emblem.

How could FE have had a defined pattern when this is only the second game to have DLC? The very next character could be a Gen 8 rep and then Pokemon would be in the same shoes as FE.
