Bite ledgetrap (and TIPPER Pin to cover their ledge stall), U-air > N-air frametraps (just spam this ****), full rising N-air in general and stuff like that.

I so badly want to attend a tournament. But I'm in India for college. The Smash scene here is about as existent as any chance I have with my crush.

I've been to tournaments. My problem is, is that everytime I go to one, I wind up having to leave early . Though, since the school year has started, I haven't been able to go to any, and I'm afraid for Glory is making me lose that tournament edge.

Anythings's better than just staying home. At least find a way to make your training more productive, even if it's against FG scrubs. I finding can still test stuff against them and work on my spacing, or something.

Agreed, but my mindset between tournaments and For Glory is very different. Every match I enter in For Glory, I expect to win and body them. Most of the time, this is the case (With the exception of those unorthodox, For Glory exclusive playstyles).

In all of my For Glory career, I've only played three good players. One Marth on 3DS, one Corrin on Wii U, and most recently: on Peach on Wii U (Though I went Cpt. Falcon)

In tourneys, I go in with a positive mindset, expecting to have fun, that way I don't get salty. This helps against the more annoying playstyles, but fails me in the more serious matches, as I am unable to react and adjust to habits outside of my instinctive punishes (Airdodges, landings, laggy moves, etc.)

Now the main reason I'd say I don't want to play on For Glory is because I can't. I play once a week, on Fridays. First in Smash Club @ my school (Which is an 8 player cluster f_ck), and on For Glory the night of. This is because I visit my grandmother's house, who both understands and supports my love for gaming

Any other day of the week, I'm at my mother's house, where I can, at my own risk, practice against CPUs late late at night. This messes up my sleeping schedule, and I have senior year to worry about. These are all excuses of course, but there good excuses. As for tournaments, I can only go if a friend goes since he has then given me a ride to and from said tourney

If you have enough for 8-player smash, couldn't you organize your own tourney? Is there any time constraints? Or are your Smash Club guys more inclined towards casual playstyle?
Meanwhile, I think I'm the only Sm4sh player in my state. I wish I was joking.

We've hosted tourneys before. And we get a lot of people. The problem is, there are only two people who can come close to matching my current skill level. We usually host them in the spring, since second semester isn't as tough on people.

You, too, Ocelotto.
Start looking up for stuff, online. If we barely have a all the way down in Argentina, I don't see that being the case in the U.S...
