I'll root for my friends over a fellow main any day, so congrats!

I ran into BC on FG once. I was unfortunately using Dedede but managed to win one match (we played three or four IIRC).

Does he still ledge camp heavily?

Eh, it's weird. He focused more on what he could get off from me shielding Lloids and SH slingshotting whenever I tried to close the distance. He just happened to be going for the ledge whenever I tried to cover ground.

So it wasn't like he was revolving his play around the ledge. He just wasn't afraid to get in there if I won the Lloid exchange and started advancing.

That's good, I don't think focusing on the ledge is a good strategy so it sounds like he's trying to be more active in his gameplay. Then again maybe he was just doing the ledge thing against me, IDK.

How close were the matches?

He won game 1 with a bowling ball roll read, game 2 was last stock, and I think game 3 was a two stock.

I think it was two stock, because I purposefully took a Lloid hit to propel myself up to where he was when I Faired him beforehand so I could Uair him for the KO super early, and wouldn't have risked a Uair from him if it was last stock.
