I think what makes the most obvious difference is his specs. He's faster than Bayo - a coveted meta trait. Yet he's also heavier, has better overall frame data but huge disjoint. He's a damn good character. For Bayo, it's a matter of her death combos making up for her weaknesses or not. She's a great character regardless, but Cloud is more consistent so far.

I suppose I can understand the sentiment. He's also simpler and more effective, and Limit Cross Slash is always an explosive punish and it has real confirms into it.

I guess I'm just glad people see what I saw 2 weeks in.

I'm going to give things more time before I call it, since I thought Bayo was clearly better at first. I still mostly do, but recent results have given me pause. I am certainly guilty of underrating Cloud so far.

To be fair, a lot of people were. It happens but now that we have Tweek and M2K and I think Komorikiri if he still regularly sweeps with Cloud, it's safe to say that's our TOP players list but he's everywhere on the way down too.

Yeah Cloud is present and threatening at every level of play. At a college event yesterday, every other doubles team had a Cloud. He's kind of a menace lol

I would say he's problematic in Doubles but outside of that he's just mr. top tier guy with a sword.

It's still impressive how he good is though, my word. Remember when he was mid tier cause his recovery? Yeah.....man, those days..

I remember first realizing his up air auto cancelled and comboed into itself and thinking "oh boy, here we go"
