I used to speedrun Sacred Grounds (Last level of Cave Story.)
Got to 3'29'64 (Or something really close to that), haven't beaten it since and just kinda stopped.

MM2 is a fun game, can't say I've speedran it though.

I'm not quite sure what I'd learn to speedrun quite yet, but that might be because I haven't done it in so long.

Try something simple, like any of the original Mario Brothers without warps.

I've definitely considered those games. As it is right now I'd be too busy to speedrun anyways due to robotics. Building a robot is hard.
