Wow, that's impressive. I wish I had that kind of determination to find a picture. I just kinda skim through google images and hope for the best.

Dedication is one of my strengths. Mix that with one of my passions and I go places. I guess you could say I'm more of an exception when it comes to this.

Ay, as long as it works, that's all that matters if you ask me. Google images works wonders for me so it's definitely a good, easy option to get what you want.

It really is just impressive. What other than your search for Zelda pictures you this dedicated about?

It does work! Well, either because I settle with stuff easily, or just I get lucky. Either way, I'm happy with the results :]

I'm pretty dedicated in general. If stuff needs to be done, I keep doing it until it's finished. In terms of stuff I care about, finishing games 100% is something I'm dedicated to doing ever since I've picked up a controller.

Getting high scores in Star Fox: Assault and finding every single secret in Ocarina of Time are also things I'm very dedicated too.

And when it comes to smash, (and most games in general) with the exception of Melee, I use 1 character 100% of the time and never use anyone else. So for 64, I'm 100% dedicated to Mario, Wolf for Brawl, and ZSS for Smash 4.

Hmm, I'm usually like that with work and cleaning. And with Marth in smash 4. Other than that, I can't name too much that i'm super dedicated too like you are, which is again, impressive! Surprised though, you're not using Zelda in brawl and Smash 4. How come you're not?

This is might be long so bear with me.

The first and obvious thing is that they didn't use the OoT design or at least offer it as a costume (color swaps be damned). OoT Zelda is the only Zelda I care about. If she never existed or if they used a different design (which could have happened) I wouldn't care about Zelda period. I care about the other zelda's as much as I care about dirt to give you an idea.

The other reason comes to the game play. I love Melee and have a huge problem with Brawl's game play. Wolf is literally the only character in Brawl I can play without being tortured by the slow pace and lack of combos. So even if I put bias aside, I do not, and can not, enjoy her in that game or anyone for that matter.

Wolf in brawl is what you find in the dictionary when you look up "perfection". He's pretty much my dream smash character in the way he feels and plays so it's no surprise he can make brawl go from torture to great enjoyment for me.

You can probably imagine what I thought when he didn't return for Smash 4.

Smash 4 is basically Brawl 2.0 (this is a good thing) in how it plays so everyone from brawl plays better in this game, but they still don't make the cut for enjoyment and none of the new comers were able to "replace Wolf" you could say.

I put bias aside and put more effort than I should have in trying to main Zelda, but I just couldn't get any fun out of her.

It took a ton of time and effort before ZSS was able to emerge as my sole main. Main reasons are her mobility, combo game and she reminds of Wolf in a few ways despite not playing anything like him. Mind you, she just barely made the cut, but in this case barely is good enough.

So basically I don't main Zelda in Brawl and Smash 4 due to a mix of design bias and lack of enjoyment.

They use a design (or lack a design I like) I don't care about, and I couldn't get any enjoyment from playing her in Brawl and Smash 4 thanks to mechanic changes among other things.

In this case, fun takes priority over design, but both play major roles regardless.

Wow, that makes sense. Who all do you use in melee then, just Zelda? Or I guess Zelda and Shiek since that's a package deal. Smash 4 and brawl makes perfect sense too. I mean, why play someone who doesn't appeal to you? Interesting though, not that it's a bad thing, but I don't think i've ever met someone who likes only one version of a character. It's a nice change, which i THINK i've said before, not really sure

Yeah you said "nice change" on how I like OoT Zelda more than TP Zelda.
Other characters I use in Melee besides Zelda are Mario, Bowser, Sheik and Peach. Those are my top 5 but I also enjoy using Link, Samus, Marth, Fox, Ganondorf, Mewtwo, Doc, and Game & Watch.
The ones outside of the top 5 are more for fun than for serious play but I enjoy using them regardless. Basically I like 1/2 the roster in Melee.

It's a lot of characters but even though I use a lot of them, Zelda is still my #1 <3 and my "main" main. She also gets the most time out of all of them too. And if you were curious, if Zelda wasn't in Melee, than Mario would be my main like he is in 64.

Do you play it competitively with her, like going to tournaments? I have to ask though, what's the appeal with Mario then? If he's like, your go to man if Zelda wasn't there

Yes. She's my go to character in the competitive scene.

Mario is my childhood and I owe my entire gaming career to him. I love Mario to death. He's my #1 male video game character and he's tied with OoT Zelda for my favorite video game character of all time. I never would have gotten into gaming if he didn't exist.

By that extension, I never would have discovered Zelda if Mario didn't exist so she basically owes Mario for all the love I give her.

Super Mario 64 is one of my favorite games of all time and is my favorite Mario game. I main Mario in nearly all of his spin off games like Mario Kart, Mario Party, the sports games, everything.

Everyone on this site knows me for OoT Zelda and to a lesser extant, Wolf, but nobody knows my love for Mario. Until now at least lol. Hell when I first discovered Smash, I thought it was a Mario spin off game based off the "Super" and "Bros" part and the fact that Mario was in it and was "the face" of the series.

I have as much passion for Mario as I do OoT Zelda even though I don't show it. I can guarantee that my life would've turned out much, much different if Mario didn't exist and he's a big reason why I'm the person I am.
