Just did a Google search and the canon character looks pretty different from the one that's in your avi. Guess you made her look more realistic.

Yeah, there's a big difference between how ZUN (the series' creator) draws the girls and how the fans draw them. ZUN's art has a very simple and childish sense of innocence to it, whereas fan art can vary wildly in its designs.

Sakuya is canonically depicted as demure and stoic, but she has a deadly side to her that tends to be emphasised in fan art. There's even a trend that depicts her as a violent killer or a cold-blooded assassin, but that's a deliberate exaggeration of her canon nature.

So it's pretty much like PKMN fanart lol.

Essentially, but in Touhou's case, it's defined by just how insanely expansive its fanbase is. The games only make up a tiny portion of the Touhou universe, and I'd say a good 90% of what people know about it is derived from fan works. There's art, fiction, games, music, clothing, props, dramas, manga, novels, figures, dolls and even a few anime shorts, all of it made by and for fans. Touhou's a fan-made phenomenon.

Oh, and just about everybody in it is a cute girl. And I'm okay with that~ ;3

That assumption was based of nothing lol. I don't know how you look IRL so I conjured up a mental image based on that sorta.

That's what I do with almost everyone's avi lol. I just sorta picture them that way because I have no idea how they look IRL. It's kinda funny.

That would also mean I would have to be much shorter though. Considering i'm like 6'3-6'4, i'm gonna have to find a way to shrink like crazy.
