This whole thing feels like a 5-year-old's fanfic...

(Considering SatAM Robotnik is one that does. not. ****. around. and has successfully taken over the world, it would not be out of the ordinary to imagine he's made a cure for cancer in case HE were to have it.)

(I think he's still in his character, since Deadpool breaks the 4th wall all the time...)

(Deadpool's healing factor gives him new cells as the cancer kills them. Without the cancer, he gets redundant new cells that eventually cause massive growths that will explode; this was discovered when a Skrull tried to copy his power.)
