Hard to say, if you currently own a 3DS I wouldn't recommend the New 3DS over the Playstation, however if you really want Xenoblade, really want to use Amiibo, really want better processing, and really want stronger A. I., I'd say go ahead, and if you don't own a 3DS yet then it's perfect for begginers.
