Is it worth it?

lol, that's cool I guess. How've you been anyway? Haven't chat in a long time. How's Berserker00?

i haven't been to a smash 4 tourney for months. too busy focusing on academics. my brother's fine too. i've been doing well, having fun hanging out irl often. my love life is still non-existent. lol

i can't really say much for how i've been doing for smash. my most recent results were a win (shulk/zard for one set) and 9th place (customs with shulk, lost to sheik) but that happened months ago.

I've recently got back in the scene myself, so I can see what you're saying there. College starts next week for me, so it's gonna be interesting to see how I'll be able to juggle Smash with school and my side projects.

Funny story. I'm an engineering student and a friend of mine (also a competitive player) told me, "you can't juggle engineering with Smash, lol" and well, ever since college started, i haven't been to a single smash large get-together. then again, if you're smart enough and if your time management is good, you should have no issues with juggling smash and school

You know the saying, "When there's a will, there's a way." I don't think it's unreasonable to save a night per week for smash.
Will definitely kill off any serious practice time though.

Point taken. I do feel like there have been those moments where I felt like I had the time to go for some sm4sh. but i decided to spend more time studying. I was called an "ULTRA NERD" for that. lmaooo. seriously though, i gotta go when i can

Hey, Ultra nerds make money when they grow up. It'd be totally dumb to tell you to stop studying. Unless you're wearing yourself down. In that case, I'd drag you away from your desk.

Megafox goes to my weeklies, Trela and Karna are a 3 hour drive away, and my scene is enough of a hotspot to attract players from out of state.

3 hour drive?? Damn. 1 hour is already too long for me to handle. lol

real talk though, I'd feel stiff and uncomfortable if I were stuck in my car for 2+ hours

All you have to do is figure out how to get comfortable. After that it's pretty easy. As long as you have a friend to drive after you get tired it's a good cheaper alternative to taking a plane.
