He's the more satisfying Mario. All he really needs is a better neutral and like, 2-3 more solid kill options (early Fair should be sweet and Dsmash kill at front, + good pills) and he'd be worthy.

Also additionally I just love how even though I main Ryu and only secondary Doc, I'm like, still THE Doc guy apparently (when I met Raziek and DumberChild at airport @ EVO, DC recognized my handle as "the guy who talks about Doc a lot"). Fun stuff.

Pills would be cool if they did slightly different things based on the color combination. Might be a little crazy if you spam it, but the reward on a pill feels not worth it in my limited time with him. What would be "good pills" to you?

Haha, I know. I'm trying to drop the Mega Man guy and just be... a guy. Mostly mechanics oriented when I post these days. I don't really think of you as THE Doc guy tho. I just think of you as a person I actually talk to that plays Doc.

Good pills would be an IASA of 43 or perhaps 40. I know that's Luigi fireball levels but with Dr. Mario's movement speed that would be considered a good projectile, likely equal to if not better than Mario's because of its angle. It would aid his approach and options in neutral, and give him coverage. His neutral isn't bad but it needs to be better to make up for his disadvantage

Nah I'm not FFam, he's a cool dude but he underplays his char so hard. I used to overhype Doc but I've just accepted that he's low tier (not bottom tier only plebs say that). He's not that far from being good though. But yeah his disadvantage is what holds him back ergo better neutral would help. Fixing disadv. would mean he'd be Mario 2.0 (he'd need more airspeed/groundspeed to make it not bad)

lol plebs. Mewtwo has Luigi fireball level IASA on shadow ball and he can't really do too much with it. I'd be fine with Doc having those pills. Ugh. I can't wait for Smash 4 minus. I have a feeling that's going to be so much fun.
