Yo. I've been doing things. Managing the Shulk boards and posting (a lot) in a social thread.

I have too much spare time. Lol

Shulk, ugh. Counter is too long for its duration.

Most people have about the same amount of time. Its merely how people end up using it. I have been going in and out of trying to quit smash and get good at smash. Its a love hate thing.

I've abused that counter with smash art and KO'd people via countering jabs. It's way too rewarding haha. I've been trying to stay away from Smash. After recent tournaments where I managed to still make it into top 8 without (or barely) any practice at all, my time playing Smash cut down drastically.

I've been conflicted about something. Might need help here. It's about buying a Wii U at this point

Like, I'm afraid that once I buy the console, Nintendo will suddenly abandon it and move on to another one. It doesn't seem to not make sense or anything. It could be possible. It may explain why their E3 direct was horribly lacking. So I'm deciding on whether I should wait, or just go ahead and buy it

Well, the thing is you do not have to stay on top of all the recent tech releases. What I have settled into is pretty much being a generation behind in some things and indulging in the buy/sell market of gaming.

I am still without a WiiU simply because there have not been enough "I REALLY WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME" type stuff for the WiiU. The only two titles I am looking forward to in future is what appears to be Zelda on Fallout/Oblivious overworld scope. Or the SMT/Fire Emblem cross over.

Everything else is pretty much an old unchanged formula or a port. Wind Waker HD, Mass Effect 3. Deus Ex, Assassin's Creed. Etc,

Well, that makes sense. I've been a generation behind a lot. This generation though is an exception because I was excited to get a 3DS XL. I wanna see what the "new console" will offer. If it gives ports or backwards compatibility to the Wii U+new games+better 3rd party support, I might as well wait for it to release.

Problem is that I've been impatient. Lol. I feel so tempted to buy the Wii U or the PS4. Either one of them. I really want to get my hands on some games and I feel like I can't wait any longer anymore

lol True. It helps when I lack motivation to buy it due to what I find a lack of games I really want to own and play regularly. I pretty much got to play Mario Kart 8, Hyrule Warriors, 3D World, and other games on other people's consoles.

Yeah. I'm really inclined to not buy the Wii U. Like, there aren't much games that really interest me. Plus, I don't have a good feeling about its future. Literally, it's just Xenoblade X, Smash and Zelda convincing me (although they're doing a good job).

But if we're talking on how to handle money, I feel like buying a Wii U might not be a smart idea. I feel like I'm buying a Wii U solely because I'm a Nintendo fan and that's it :|

I've been playing Smash Wii U only at tournaments. Been enjoying it so far. The fact that I don't even have to play the game that much to do well made me think about all of this because Smash is the primary reason for me to buy a Wii U, obviously

What I started realizing is that there are tons of good games out there, but the problem is they are split across like dozens of consoles.

Part of why I switched to waiting longer and getting games used. However, lack of money and school was always why I waited longer too lol
