Been to tourneys. Top 8 at one with Customs Kirby and another with Shulk except I forfeited. I beat a Sheik and customs DK with Shulk. You should have seen the face of the Sheik when he tried doing anything against Monado shield. "WHY AREN'T MY COMBOS WORKING? HOW AM I GETTING PUNISHED FOR GETTING HIT?"

then he tried camping me out, then I went on speed. then I realized that every time that I'm at mid-range, he ALWAYS tries to rushdown so I (finally mastered) quickly switching to shield. Then I whack him then switch to buster.

From there, I realize that f-air is purely good when challenging aerials, n-air is good for spacing at ground, b-air is good against everything.

Oh, I almost forgot. **** Villager.

I would have thought people would have figured out to run from Monado Shield by now.

Strategy changed for shield art. It's used at specific moments (ex: anticipating an approaching attempt) but ultimately, it won't see that much up-time.

Anyway, it seems like you have a thing for going in and out of Smashboards every once in a while.

Business is busy, don't always have time to (post about) smash. Lull in activity lately, have some more time than usual.

I think Shulk is kindaaaa mehish, I wish they had buffed him in this patch

I'm okay with Shulk, at least for now but then again, I'm admittedly biased. Not gonna lie though, I was hoping for a frame data buff but I guess Sakurai prefers to wait and see *sigh*

The thing is that Ike's frame data is so much better than Shulk's now...

Sad life BUT I'm gonna try out Roy for fun. I always had fantasies of playing as an aggressive, fire-element, sword-wielding, redhead except I was thinking of a female... but Roy works. I guess. I'll still use Shulk even with his bottom-tier frame data. I can't really abandon characters but I can't afford to have one only especially with the frequent patch updates
