Yep. Reality is I'm not a furry but liking a comic book character that is a raccoon makes you one somehow

i can sympathize with that. I am like very very low key but like anthros like fox and such. guess its just easier to identify with the label around certain people for me since our world runs on schemas.

but what is a furry anyway? being a furry isnt really about liking fursuits and having a fursona, you can just appreciate the art and be one too

I honestly don't know. I'm a "furry in denial" apparently. I do not even care about the art. A furry is someone who appericates the art at the very least

Sounds to me like others are wanting to label you as one and you don't really see that as you. These days it seems like people like calling anyone who likes any sort of anthro a furry lol. Like starfox? Obv furry.

lol that was more or less me when the fact that i obsess over latias and have tons of latias merchandise and plushies made some people think i was a furry because of that. how did our world even get to this point lol

Yeah, it's bad now. I do obsess over Rocket but it gets annoying espically since I've said more than once I'm not one. Obsessing over something that isn't human doesn't make you a furry

on an unrelated note, are you into speedrunning at all? :O. I love smash and play a lot, but speedrunning is my super passion :x

No, I'm not into speedrunning. I've heard of some records and some are very impressive. What games have you speedran?

i mostly speedrun ocarina of time and do several categories in that game. Ive also done twilight princess, dishonred, and im considering picking up star fox adventures......though it is a 5 hr run ugh lol
