Globox is best Rayman character. Dat Rayman 2 nostalgia. I'm still upset over the leak. :<

Rayman 2 was my first and only one! I loved the game so much, great platforming. Globox is adorable, and so is his friendship with Rayman haha.

Don't worry about the leak.. Maybe something real will happen? I feel like the next potential 3rd party would def be Rayman, considering he has a completely new model just for Smash and whatnot

I played both Rayman and Rayman 2 growing up, and it was always one my favorite franchises. As much as I love Origins and Legends, I think the world is ready for a proper Rayman 4. There aren't enough 3D platformers on the market.

I agree! And even though the leak was fake, it's given the character a lot of exposure. I can't complain about that, heh.

I agree completely! The 3D Rayman platformers were SO fun, very high quality games imo. Rayman 2 left such a big impression on me. I hadn't the chance to try out Rayman 3 yet... but from the demo I recall playing, it looked pretty damn cool.

I think it was like proof that you know, people really (either) want Rayman or more DLC!
Jae
Jae
Which one was it that was Co-op, Legends or Origins? (Or both?)

I like Rayman 2 better than its sequel, but they're both great platformers. Believe it or not, Rayman Raving Rabbids was originally going to be a platformer, but they redesigned it to be a mini-game compilation instead. What a heartbreak.

Clearly there is a lot of demand for Smash DLC, so Nintendo would be stupid not to take advantage of that. Here's hoping that Rayman is being considered behind closed doors.

Rayman Origins AND Rayman Legends both have co-op, in fact. I haven't decided which game I like more. It's like forcing me to choose a favorite child!

By the way, do you have a Skype account? I was going to send you a private message, but it looks like you have those disabled. :Y

Aha, sorry about the late. I gotten busy this week and haven't the chance to be on very much!

I'll get to replying soon!

No need to apologize! You sound like a busy bee. At any rate, my body will be ready. I prefer communicating with people in real time, which is why I'm on Skype often.
Jae
Jae
I don't use Skype very often :c But we have this as a medium to communicate so that's fine!

Is that right? I recall playing Raving Rabbids 2, but not the first one. Yeah, I wonder how that would've turned out had it stuck to being a platformer instead. (Glad to see Rayman returned to being platformer games!)

The potential that DLC can bring, ESPECIALLY for a game like Smash... Nintendo should not ignore it at all, despite what some vocal fans might say about DLC and how "the game should already be complete". Rayman would be great definitely... He fits the bill of the Smash universe much more than any other character I can think of atm.
Jae
Jae
So you would recommend those games huh? I saw a sale on one of the games a while back, I wished I had jumped on the deal but I think I can wait for it to come back again. Or if I really feel the desire to, just buy it at regular price!

Fair enough, but I still prefer talking to people in private. You know never who's eavesdropping on our conversation! Next time you come on Skype, let me know. :J

The first Raving Rabbids game was really fun, but over time, the series started downplaying the "Rayman" moniker until they eventually removed it altogether.

Sakurai may be against the DLC idea, but I don't think Nintendo is. They know good money when they see it, and Smash fans are guaranteed to buy any DLC that's thrown in their direction.

Rayman fits in remarkably well, and his model is already complete. The only thing holding him back now is his status as a third party representative. I could potentially see them saving him for Smash 5,.

I highly recommend both, but Rayman Legends should be easy to find at a reasonable price. You won't regret it, sweetheart.
Jae
Jae
We can always do a PM as soon as we get annoyed by the character limit haha

I'm kind of glad they decided to advertise the Rabbids as kind of a "standalone" spin-off. It's not really a Rayman game without Rayman actually doing something (of actual interest)
Jae
Jae
You make good points! I'm definitely one of those Smash fans. I really hope that DLC is a thing... if not more characters, then how about more stages/music?

Rayman is legitimately the closest (I think) to being a potential character, yeah with his model already being pre-made for Nintendo. And they have trophies of his franchise already too...
Jae
Jae
I'd probably want him in this game, it won't be until a long while before a Smash 5 releases o:

Alright, thanks for the heads-up! I appreciate it :D
