I'm sick right now so i can't too in depth but the main thing to know about villager is that she thrives of limiting your options. Lloyd forces an action from your opponent, which if you make the right read you can capitalize of

Slingshots aren't too strong from a distance (they deal 2 or 3 percent) but they are really good at forcing approaches and otherwise irritating your opponent.

Villager's close range game is where its at though. All her aerials are fast and powerful with the ax from Timber being a super powerful kill move.

What tilts should I be using? F-tilt seems like a good option but do down and up have a use?

One last thing Villager has the most powerful recovery in the game (Balloon Trip) and one of if not the fastest spikes (3-turnip d-air) on top of an F-smash offstage. A very basic Villager gameplan is limit with Lloyd and Slingshots, get them offstage, and edgeguard.
