I just got the news. I'm glad it's still being developed, and while it's a shame it didn't go according to plan, I'm happy it's still going ahead all the same.

ZUN is a pretty cool guy for green-lighting the project. It's gonna make a lot of fans extremely happy to get to play this game.

Wait is it still being developed with the Touhou properties? I don't recall correctly but I think in the video the devs put up they mentioned a change in name and characters. o:

From what I gather, it's still going ahead as planned, just that ZUN isn't comfortable with crowd-funding a game that may or may not get a return on its investment on behalf of the fans.

As I understand it, he just wants to make sure that the game isn't relying on others to get off its feet, and that it can actually deliver a quality title based on its own merits.

Huh, interesting. It does seem promising, gameplay-wise and whatnot. The only thing I didn't like was the art style lol but I hope that they manage to deliver their dream product!

I can understand ZUN's policies, it's cool enough that he's open to fans to do whatever with his characters!

Yeah, the art style is so-so, but I'm sure that's just a beta demo. I imagine it'll look better when it's good to go. :3

I'm a writer myself, and I'm planning on sharing my work for free with the world, and I would consider it the greatest possible compliment and an inestimable honour to see fans doing their own things with my creations~

It would be a great honour definitely! I have my own "characters" in mind, but I won't do anything (like show them) until I become a competent enough artist.
