Okay this is basically what I was looking for, this is the first opening (it changes as the show progresses) but I guess it's pretty much a teaser.

AFAIK the opening is normal on Hulu. It also has the eyecatches. I was talking about Toonami, haha. I don't see why they cut the intro though, it's not like they're struggling for time.

And yes, it changes to reflect changes in the plot. It totally changes after a certain episode (there's kind of two seasons but it's technically one season).

You need to watch TTGL (Gurren Lagann). So epic.

I should clarify that last comment: the Japanese title is Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann but the English title just uses Gurren Lagann. You'll see it abbreviated TTGL for that reason.
