Ayy, how you been fam?xD I'm entering a sm4sh tourney today that's offline!

I lost winners bracket 2nd round and choked during losers braket. I felt like I let my partner down during the 2nd round of winner's bracket, so it's probably why I choked later on. But I did meet a LOT of new people, so I did have fun.

Who did you and your friend use?
Was that just doubles you entered? Did you go for singles?

Yeah, that's what tournaments are all about. Meeting people and getting better rather than just winning. I'm glad you had a good time outside brackets.

It was originally supposed to be just a singles tournament, until someone suggested doubles, so the TO decided to do doubles (it was in a comic book store in a mall, so we had time constraints). Then someone suggested random partners, so we had a different partner each match. The guy I was teamed up with used Little Mac (btw Little Mac + Marth= AMAZING TEAM!!).

That's terrible TO'ing, but it was all in good fun, and I'm glad you still enjoyed it.

Hopefully things run more smoothly next time, with time for both singles and doubles.

In the second round, I was teamed up with a Yoshi, and I stayed Marth. We lost the first match, so I decided to switch to Robin for the second match. I SD'd twice within the first minute of the match, and lost my third stock about 1 minute later, and I left my partner ATM with 2 stocks going up against the opponents with 3 stocks each (hence why I felt I let him down).

For my match in the Loser's bracket, it turned out the guy I was supposed to be teamed up with left, so we had to wait about 7 minutes until they decided to sub him with someone who'd already lost because it wouldn't have been fair to drop me without letting me get a set in the loser's bracket since the guy I was supposed to be teamed up with left. The sub was using Kirby and I was using Marth again.
