Bring your controller if you like, there will be some community controllers, but in general it would probably be better to have your own. Still trying to find a second gamecube controller adapter. K, my brother and I are both going. He's really good, or at least is the only person I've fought who knows how to counter me. I dont think he can last at EVO and stuff like I could, because of his strategy. But he's the only person who can stand a chance against me(that I fought). With both of us how many people are going to be there?

Lastly, would we have anytime to practice before hand?

Not really any time to practice. It should translate pretty well from the 3DS. I even heard the 3DS controller has no lag when used as a controller for the Wii U, so it could conceivable directly translate. It's mostly for fun, this tourney but I'm hoping for some good competition. More details are on the event link. RSVP if you think you'll go. No stream

Currently the rules are 3 stock single elim. We're hoping to do either double elim or best 2 of 3 if we can get more than one wii u going

I'm not a fan of the 3ds as a ssb controller. Haha. How many people will be there? And how do I deserve the slots?

Oh yeah that's no problem. I just meant RSVP on FB if you wanted to. If you get there at 7, they plan on getting the bracket setup and getting ready to go by 7:30

Not really unfortunately. They only have the venue for 4hrs so we can't go early to practice either. Hopefully there will be enough setups so we can free play

All I saw was Gabriel post that Bookmans was letting him do a Melee tourney (that's all I know so far). I thought you were Gabriel and I really wanted to know more about it
