She takes her music seriously. Even the dance pop portion of it. I mean it is what all of her singles are all about. Not really what she wanted to be.

She wanted to be more diverse. Her albums and unreleased songs show this. She has equal amounts of Rock Pop (including songs with Flaming Lips and Iggy Pop) and ballads as well (Old Flames Can't Hold a Candle, Past Lives, Goodbye, Last Goodbye).

She believes that the dance pop portion of her music gives people fun even if it's not the part of her she wants to focus on. so she still gives it the same attention that you'd expect.

She's very professional. If you want to see her poke fun of the concept of her as a coked out dance ***** watch her interviews on Conan O'Brien or her skit of her as a Disney Princess for Funny or Die.

Ke$ha (who has even sense dropped the dollar sign so she's just Kesha now) is a very wise smart business woman who has had a certain sound forced on to her by her record company.

She just is a ''Music is for fun" artist, so even while the stuff that's pushed out to the public (her singles) isn't her favorite stuff.
