With the Gematsu leak on its death throes, I can safely say that I'm genuinely excited for SSB4 again.

I was already excited, but as I've said before, the leak and all those who worshipped it really didn't help my mood. But now Robin, a character that many said was impossible, is playable, and the leak is no longer absolute. This is such a great day, for all Smash fans (except Chrom fans, but they were a minority, anyway).

I just hope we can get characters like Mewtwo, Ridley, and K. Rool now.

Looking back at my posts, I find it silly that I doubted K. rool's inclusion because of the Gematsu leak and the possibility of other boss hazards. I'm completely over that now that it's been debunked, and so I think he has an 80% chance of getting in now, just like I believe Mewtwo is a lock.

You believe Mewtwo is a lock?

Well, first of all I should warn you that such thinking is dangerous. Look where that got Chrom supporters.

But anyway, what's your basis for your confidence in Mewtwo? Since he's my all-time most wanted character, I'd like to have a little more confidence myself.

Sorry for not responding earlier, but I had been busy working on my homework assignments for a class I'm taking during the summer. I'll explain to you my reasons why I believe in Mewtwo soon, it's just that I have other priorities in real life.

But nonetheless, I'll tell you one reason why his chances are strong: Game Freak.

Fair point. If I interpret this correctly, the fact that Game Freak has been using Mewtwo so much as of late to promote Pokemon means that he would be an ideal addition to Smash for them, especially seeing as how Mewtwo was already a character once, and his return is desired by tons of fans across the world.

I won't deny that Mewtwo makes perfect sense as a character, but that doesn't guarantee his inclusion.
