Watch out if you're taking benzodiazepine for anxiety. I don't think that you will have any issues, but they can be highly addictive.

Also if it makes you feel any better, I go through at least four bottles of xanax/alprozolam and lexapro/escitalopram on a daily basis for people who you couldn't tell had social issues. I still believe that it's not the medication that 'changes' people, but allows them to have a daily reminder that they are trying to make a change in their lives.

Thank you so much! That's really great to hear. They're starting me off with a really small dosage to avoid any addiction things, so I don't think that will be too much of a worry. Thank you!

Do your best, that's all you can expect of yourself. Failing a class is a big deal in the short run, but in the long term of life it's questionable how much value your college degree will be for you. And it seems like you may be spiraling with a load of questions and a future that seems like you've tanked. However, I know that you are strong and will be okay in the end.
