Tried adding someone today too, but the registration didn't go through, which was a first.

Have you tried resetting your Wii, or even your router at all? Haven't heard of that happening before.

So it looks like the people affected by whatever it is preventing them from connecting with friends still can't connect. WiFi is at it's final breath...

No, whoever is affected cannot see any friend online, or register anyone. I thought it was my WiFi, but it just so happened that I was trying to connect/see people who were affected.

But I suppose it could be a glitch of some sort that got around to a lot of people, here's to hoping.

But, weren't you able to see me online yesterday, even though you were supposedly impacted then? :s Now no one can be seen online at all?

I was able to see you because I'm not impacted I thought I was, but I was just trying to view people who were, and so I couldn't see them and assumed it was me. They appear offline to everyone, and everyone appears offline to them. Apparently they can still access Basic Brawl and connect there without qualms. Appears I dodged a bullet.
