    Knee Timing?

I'm also curious how local vs wi-fi play affects consistency.

How do I gimp this character?

Check out this video. It explains the properties well, and how to gimp. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jc07-xJ_skM

Another salty post about roll spamming

I never play a second game if the connection is bad. Basically, those games "don't count" in my mind. Spamming projectiles, like any other spam strategy, has weaknesses that can be exploited. My first guess is that they aren't able to handle themselves when another person is in close...

    Amiibo XML

Potentially, although that isn't the goal of this initiative. That would directly affect Nintendo's ability to sell Amiibo. But yes, copying/duplicating the data is a possibility. The main goal is to determine what all those data fields affect. By figuring out which data controls specific...

    Amiibo XML

Hello everyone! Over at reddit.com/r/amiibros, we're trying to dissect the Amiibo and find out what makes them tick. We could really use your help! Here's the wiki of everything we've discovered so far. Simply put, we need more data and brainpower. You can submit your Amiibo XML to use for...

HELP: U-Tilt Combo? Optimal move for returning Gordos?

I never thought to hit back reflected Gordos. That'd be a good skill to have. It'd be like at the end of a Zelda game where Link has to bat that energy ball back and forth to Ganon.

Real Expectations with your Amiibo & How we should really view them instead

Amiibo attempt to simulate a good fighting style. They aren't able create a good fighting style. They just copy what they see works, and then execute with computer accuracy.

    Small Amiibo Addition?

I wish their was an Amiibo-only online mode, or at least a Team battle with Amiibo. It would be fun to train your Amiibo, then fight alongside them against someone else and their Amiibo.

    Amiibo Experiences

Yep, someone recently trained their Pikachu to spam Thunder. He used only Thunder to train it for 50 levels. By the end of it, that Amiibo was using Thunder 2.5x more often than a CPU.

Can you play as your Amiibo?

The only way to play "with" your Amiibo right now is to be on the same team with it. In all other cases, you'll be fighting it.

    Over-powered amiibos?

I'm curious to see what game will utilize their mobile storage ability next. Pokemon would be an interesting application.

    Amiibo Theory - Generational Learning

Over time, your Amiibo will fight with less human tendencies. The Amiibo algorithm doesn't create better fighters, it creates similar fighters. So, you're making a copy of a copy. The problem is that each generation replaces some of that "human" data with "Amiibo" data. They don't get better...

Amiibo Can Only Store Data From One Game at a Time

Someone will probably create a phone app for reading, storing and writing Amiibo data.

How to get rid of an Amiibo's Attributes?

There are surprisingly few options to "undo" an Amiibo's skills. I think the only way to erase skill stats would be resetting it, or feeding it other equipment to counter a specific skill.

    Amiibo programming question.

From what I understand, they basically store fighting data and the Wii U takes that data and plugs it into the AI algorithm. A simple example: your Amiibo learns you taunt 90% of the time after you kill someone. Your Amiibo will store that value (.9) and then the Wii U will reference that...
