Yeah. If you don't perfect shield, you'll recoil from the attack and won't get out the charge shot as quick.

Wow. This thread made me laugh. It's a rather quick technique... but seriously, there's no fun in it. It's a complete waste of 50 dollars. I'd only recommend it if that pesky little brother/sister overwrote your save file. :P
