I believe it is this coming weekend. U of M starts after Labor Day, so that would make sense to me. You better play against him a lot and learn that Ike match up :D

Awesome. To be completely honest, I think Melee should seriously think about making matches 3 stocks as well. I just like the game being a faster pace and I think it could also help some characters as well.

I've said this before, if Distant Planet was smaller it would be a good singles stage but probably a little small for doubles. At least for how I like to play doubles (2 1v1s instead of one giant cluster****). Agreed on Rumble and Norfair though, those stages are ass and promote circle camping...

Holy ****, 5 PM for singles? I hope you just force everyone to play their ****in matches. Are you doing pools or straight bracket? I would understand if you just do immediate double elim. bracket since you don't have a ton of room, but pools are always nice.
