    Some times when I've used this, I did a soft bike d-throw before it. The bike will briefly block ledge jump (I believe it lasts slightly longer when facing left.) and return to where you need it for the d-smash afterward.

    No. Only forward air and back air can be auto canceled out of a short hop.

    I've known this for a while, but I haven't heard it mentioned yet. So I'll go and share this minor oddity. On DL64, Wario's Dash Attack sour hit will not always trip. I'm unsure if this stage effects any other tripping moves.

    To go into details, Half Waft goes up 1% damage every 5 seconds you have it. Starts at 20% base and ends at 30% base. Possibly some additional demicals if you cut it really close to the full waft (you've got about 2 seconds after reaching 30% damage, I believe).

    While not necessarily a true combo into a footstool, I've gotten quite a few with Rising Sour Fair -> Footstool. Another one is tilted forward aerial bike -> footstool at some percents. I don't know if anything can be done with those.

    Seems you just have a very different view from everyone else on what autocanceling is. Sheik's f-air is a rather quick move, 10-frames of landing lag without autocancel, so that's why it's so quick even when fast-fallen into the ground.

    From Kurogane's framedata chart for Wario: Wario's shorthop airtime is 35 frames and the auto-cancel for Bair happens at 34 frames and above. You should try buffering a back-air during the jumpsquat animation.
