How often do you see Racism Online?

Online competitive gaming will always be a breeding ground for Internet tough guys - it's amazing how the shields of anonymity and distance can bring out the most detestable sides of people. Haven't had the misfortune of running into any racially derogatory tags, but have seen my share of...

Why does nobody ever complain about SHIEK'S Hoo-Hah?!

    >Referring to the fairplane as a hoo-hah >Calling it brain-dead >Spelling my girl's name wrong Disrespect for days.

Which stage do you wish was on both versions?

    Magicant 5ever.

Which CPU level is the best balance between 'fun' and 'challenging' to you?

5-7 seems to be the sweet spot - they're still a far cry from human opponents, but they serve their purpose. 9s aren't difficult to beat so much as they are totally inhuman - stuff that should work on opponents doesn't and vice versa.

I don't understand why most professional players consider Shiek top 1-3.

m2k lays it out pretty well in the above post by @_Tree . I'd also disagree with your reasoning - she does minimal damage per attack, but has no issues racking up the damage through well-executed strings. Likewise, there are tons of set-ups for a kill - enough to make BF and bair (her two main...

Did anyone else quit playing Ness because of this?

Totally understand where you're coming from regarding how you choose to spend your time on the game given your real world responsibilities and I'm not one of those folks who thinks FG is totally useless (it can be a learning tool, albeit a limited one, and it's just good fun a lot of the time)...

I feel like MOST...not all but Ness get wins due to PK fire.

If you're consistently getting hit by the move your approach is too linear and therefore predictable. And if you get hit by the fire, it's too late for a follow-up/punish, so stop trying. Your post is a bit unclear, but it seems that you're also complaining that most Nesses easily turn grabs...

Returning to Sm4sh after a couple of months...I don't feel the same

Try switching it up and playing a new character or two. Also, playing against others is a must for this game given the skimpy solo modes - I'm having a decent amount of fun grinding out custom stuff at the moment, but would lose interest long term if I didn't have the option of online or local...

Smash 3DS Do You Use The 3D When Playing?

I find it incredibly distracting and I'm on the OG 3DS so constantly keeping it aligned/angled is a chore. I only ever turn it on for cinematics.

If You Could Bring One Stage from SSB N64, Which Would it Be?

Saffron and Castle put me in total nostalgia mode, but Dreamland is the best candidate.

Which past stage is the best canidate for DLC?

I'm at a loss as to why FoD isn't in the game. Perfect stage.

To "I suck at smash and it isn't fun any more in For Glory"

Continuing to play him was the right move - if he was consistently beating you and stuck around, that's a great opportunity to learn! However, you also gotta learn how to cut back on the salt (and pride) since it probably made you play thoughtlessly. It's a delicate balance.

Character you see the most in For Glory?

Links. Links everywhere. Mac hype has died down, but he's still up there. Surprisingly few Diddys (inb4 wave of FG hoo-hah spammers).

Smash Wii U Health Warning: Avoid perfect pivoting on the Wii U Gamepad

I feel like the odds of someone repetitively perfect pivoting (a tech that isn't all that widely used in competitive play at the moment), on a Wii U gamepad (a controller that is almost never used in competitive play), and under the exact same conditions (i.e., having the same hand/finger size...

    Best Matchup against Captain Falcon

Sheik fo sho. I usually go Falcon vs Falcon (cuz you just gotta, man), but Sheik's got a counter option to almost anything Falcon can do.
