My friend and I have always been looking for a smash community in Winnipeg. Too bad it wasn't still, say... two years ago
I think it would've been pretty interesting to see how we would've matched up.
We are going to attend the event for good times although I don't think it'll really tell us much anymore as we haven't played for almost two years. Has there always been a community? I wish I could've found this a couple of years ago... would've been really exciting. I've always followed the smash community on smashboards as I love the game. I mean I'm pretty good at Street Fighter as far as casual scrubs go (did pretty decent at Driven, top pad player I think) but Smash is always #1 to me.... way too much guesswork involved in SF in my opinion... Smash is just pure fun.
Are there any really good players in Winnipeg that make full use of ATs like SHFFLing, wavedashing etc. ? Hopefully they aren't all Marth... Well see you there!
