I've heard they're allowing amiibos in arenas in 3.1.0. While it may not be normal CPUs and they still have stronger attacks and defense without feeding, it's still something and personally an exciting inclusion imo.

I don't know if they ever did anything to olimar in recent patches, but I know that he is/was insanely broken in WoL especially for bosses. Wouldn't hurt to try him out and find a primary spirit that gives bonus damage (like fire or maybe electric).
