I am going to a local tourny. I need to know what stages are best suited for Marth's. And I need to know which are worst for him and why; so I can lessen my weakness innately put into by my character.

L-Cancelling is difficult. So is shorthopping. No, double jumps. Got it. That already helps. I can wavedash, just not utilize it yet.

IMO. Video guides are much easier to comprehend and to acutally use to improve your playing ability. i.e. Wak/ Kaze no Kizzu

If only if there were a way that you could re-format the thread into a guide. Like a FAQ guide so that any re-visited questions would be answered by different people's opinions. Then we would have a clean slate of a thread.

Haha, I can do ledgehopped aerials, pivot, l-cancel, JC Grab, ken combo and even waveland. But I can't short-hop consistently. No matter what I do, I always take a high jump. Any suggestions?

When I try to Wavedash, sometimes I do I high jump or I dodge only slight slanted. Is this something with Marth or am I doing something wrong?

What is spotdoging? Also, I am learning to washdash. And 80% of the time, I am facing a different direction/holding the shield at the end/ or short wavedashing. Is wavedashing a flowing movement? Or is it a "sequence of buttons" type of motion. JC Grab- Do I press y/x at the same time as Z...
