Don't know if this has been mentioned, but the glitch making Olimar's Pikmin freeze and become unusable through a down through into down smash has been removed as far as I can tell.

I'm the Jiggs referred to in OP's post. If countering my own Jiggly with Sheik, I'd definitely use ftilts since my approach is to shorthop nair at head-level as ZeroJanitor said. drakeirving's link about Sheik is also accurate since the needles definitely are an issue for Jiggs. As for Diddy...
