You’re probably right. They wouldn’t exclude such a relatively important character from being represented as a spirit just because they’re considering it for dlc, especially with how easy it must be to add spirits.

The only way I’ll deliberately not purchase a certain fighter is if we get a character from one of those Japanese mobile games (Granblue Fantasy, Dragalia Lost), one rumored to have a character as dlc. I’ll accept pretty much anything else within even remote reason.

I actually would really prefer this over Skull Kid with the mask since the mask is the real evil entity and catalyst of the events of Majora’s Mask. Skull Kid is more like a puppet. I’m not sure if that’s good enough reason, but that’s just how I’d want it to be represented.
