I think there would have to specifications for stage types but those be set before the tournament begins. I.E. alll Omega or Battlefield or all as they come. Don't know if there would be a way for multi man tournie modes but that would be cool too. At least duos would be fun but wouldn't be as...

Remove 3/4 of the cast. Would you rather have another Sonic character or another guest character from a different fighting game franchise? I.E. Heihachi or Geese.

Maybe a down throw where the opponent is grounded and it generates a dirt block that does a small amount of damage? Rest of it sounds great though.

Ideal number for my friend is 4-6. More than that and it gets crazy even without items. We also play with items because it's a fun time.

Sounds like he tries to tell himself that he's having fun. Did the same myself in a few games. Unfortunately it's hard to get someone to recognize it themselve's.
