A lot of the stuff you did in the video doesn't seem that helpful. If you don't know the basics to the character and the basic tech like L-canceling then going into the lab and playing around is nice. Now what you really need is someone to practice with a develop the mental aspect of the game...

Just remember that if Sheik is in your face you are going to lose. If sheik is within sword range then you are winning.

I would say don't constantly go for the Dair off stage, but use it as a mix up. Every once in a while you can catch your opponent with it and they will miss the meteor cancel. I especially like Dthrow to Dair when close the ledge.

Anyone have any advice for the ness matchup? I'm pretty sure it is in Falcons favor, but the combination of projectiles, strong aerials, and good throws are giving me a lot of trouble. I tend to approach through the air more, but it can be tough, since Fair stuffs a lot of aerials.

I definitely think that Fatality is the best PM falcon. The melee pros are all awesome, but I feel like Fatality uses all of Falcon's tools well, while the melee pros mainly stick to melee Falcon. Another great player to check out is Darc.

Falcon is definitely a viable character. He doesn't have any unwinnable match ups, but he is not very forgiving. He has a pretty bad recovery, especially in a game were there are a lot of strong recoveries. This turns him into a don't get hit character or you can just flat out die (his weight...

Melee characters that do well against falcon are Fox, Falco, and Sheik. Shiek is very hard for captain falcon to deal with as she can combo him like crazy and gimp his bad recovery. DIing Falcon's Dair is probably not the easiest/best thing to do. With high percent he should still be able to get the Fair follow up even if you DI. Like Manaconda said you can just jump up in the air and hit him before he can get his Dair out. As Ness I feel this is a great option especially...
