Luigi Wish List (for the next update)

But then a missfire would go right through them and off the stage. :( The side b sweet spot is hard to time but once you get it down you can sweet spot from max charge side b's like no other. I would love to see his side b stick to walls like it did in brawl and allow a wall jump from it...

Luigi Wish List (for the next update)

Why are you trying to argue this? You have no right to claim his dash attack is garbage when you don't even know when to use it. His dash attack isn't meant to set up into sweet combos or get an *easy* free hit out of. You can use it in many different situations to apply specific pressure or...

Luigi Wish List (for the next update)

I have played this character since the melee days. He has had significant buffs in PM (some of these buffs were to moves that made him low tier in melee). Not only has his recovery been boosted, he can now control his missfires. This can give you such an edge over your opponent. Crouch...

Luigi Wish List (for the next update)

Luigi is fine. Everything works fine. Minor changes and that's it. The only thing I would say is tweak his dash attack a tiny bit and he would be perfectly top tier. Learn the character and you will do just fine.

The Luigi Discussion Thread - People Actually Play This Character?

But you crouch first. So it isn't really moon walking. I think it's using momentum from the forward dash and applying it to the crawl animation. When you crawl backwards out of a dash or a wave dash forward you get this crazy momentum boost and it let's you crawl extremely fast. It looks...

The Luigi Discussion Thread - People Actually Play This Character?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RdQy1v_ZkAE So that is the video of a little slide technique I've been using lately. It's pretty fun to bust out from time to time. Throws the opponent off and can be good for reading when the player will roll behind you while you try to tech chase. Don't mind...

The Luigi Discussion Thread - People Actually Play This Character?

Try this out guys. Wavedash forward, crouch, as soon as you see the crouch come out pull slightly back on the control stick the opposite way you are facing, and use any move you would like. What happens is the momentum carries you back a bit at the same time you use an attack. This can open...

    Stage .H.A.C.K.ing Central

I have an idea for creating a stage for Project Melee (or Brawl if it's easy to make for both versions). Could anyone that knows about making stages answer some questions I have about it? Please send me a private message so I can discuss more about it there. The stage would involve a basic...

    Lucas General Discussion

DJC is insaaaaaanely important to Lucas. Imagine you are fighting a fox and he runs at you. What are his options? Yeah.. ok.. Good. Now imagine a Lucas runs at you, but now you have to worry about djc'd moves directly in your face. Yep, because DJC stops all horizontal momentum you can aim...

    Lucas General Discussion

Don't use it just to edge guard against players recovering with upb. Use it to push back a player knocked on the ground. If they are near the ledge they have no where to go but toward you or stay in the same position. It takes away an escape route. Or if they are near the ledge and are in a...
