    Wavedashing in Ultimate. Is it any useful compared to Melee?

    Taken from the same channel: Wavedash is still good for low-commitment reads. 18 frames isn't terrible coming from melee's 10 frames, ESPECIALLY for heavies with the global 3 frame jump squat. Let's not forget you can wavedash anytime, while dash dancing is locked to certain 'rhythms'.

    Sadly no matter how well they balance it, there is an issue of the B-button input. For example, you could no longer use Mario's fireball when your meter fills. Other games have a separate input for supers. Unless they have a separate dedicated button mapped for final smash, it just wouldn't...

    That new back attack animation is serious attention to detail! Can't wait to BACKSLASH! :4shulk: another small detail are the faces and steam effects in rage mode. DK looks pissed.

    I'm not sure Rex is a strong enough protagonist, thanks in part to that dub.. but I'll take any XC2 rep I can get. I REALLY want Adam after that dlc was shown. but sadly he's not the face of the game. And if we can please get a Malos echo for that 10/10 VA

    Wavedashing isn't hard.. MELEE is! seriously consistent short hops with fox is hard in itself. In PM wavedash was significantly easier, and will be made even easier with Ultimate's physics. Furthermore, canceling dash is not new. In melee you could crouch from dash allowing use of any move...
